What's going on everyone! Hope you all are enjoying your week. We've had a real exciting week and I thought it would be a great time to let you know what we've been up to. If you've been to our site you've probably already seen the prototype of our first set of fall (or as we're calling them indian summer) shirts. Well after what seemed like forever, we FINALLY completed our order which should arrive Oct 11th! These new shirts will come in 5 colors:
I don't know what I'm more excited about, sharing these new tee's with all of you, or having a different color Cape Crabbers shirt to wear every day of the week. These shirts have a few of differences from our older releases. We're printing these shirts on 100% fine jersey cotton unisex t-shirts from American Apparel. These super soft shirts are so comfortable you'll want to rock your new Crabber 24/7. At least thats the idea!
Since there's 120 days of summer we decided to limit production of these shirts to 120. Thats 120 total for all the colors, making each shirt SUPER exclusive. That way when Cape Crabbers goes global you'll be able to share some history with us with. These shirts are just beginning and you can expect some very exciting things to come in the near future.
Speaking of some new exciting things to come, we want to introduce Julia Hoffman as our first in-house designer!
She's a really talented graphic designer and long time friend. We're off to a great start after a few hours of working together. It's crazy how adding another point of view can really mix things up. Expect some funky new designs in the near future!
Cape Crabbers TV?
Inspired by the minds at www.iwearyourshirt.com we've decided we wanted to try and make our own video shorts, commercials, and vlogs. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little camera shy. Its been a while since I did the morning announcements in high school. I'm sure whatever we come up with will be at least slightly entertaining though. Melissa is hilarious when you put her on camera. Just check out her video for the bookitout.com competition.
Well its time to take Marlee for a walk so i'll talk to you all later!
